Job summary

The Bama Companies, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This exempt full-time role leads the Production Department, driving production strategy and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across the plant. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will manage Production Supervisors and Team Members, champion Bama's culture, and coordinate with the leadership team to meet strategic goals.

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt Employment Type: Full Time

Description: The Operations Manager is part of the leadership team at a manufacturing facility, responsible and accountable for the Production Department at the Bama Companies, Inc., in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position drives production strategy, focus, and alignment supporting Bama's Key Strategic Intentions.

The Operations Manager is a change agent, reporting to the Plant Manager. The position is responsible and accountable for leadership of Production Supervisors, Operations Coordinators and Production Team Members. They understand the Bama Manufacturing Systems and champion Quality/Safety/Continuous Improvement/Smart Fun Financial Growth to employees, customers and the rest of the Management Team. They oversee the application of policies and rules within the Department. They will be a strong resource for production related aspects.

The Operations Manager is a role model for EQ within Bama, supporting Emotional Quotient initiatives and delivers "employees feeling wildly important."

Job specific functions and deliverables...

• BS Degree in Science, Business or related discipline and/or 5 years of related experience with increasing responsibilities within a food manufacturing facility
• 3-7 years in a management role, with demonstrated excellence in management & organizational duties
• Understanding of safety requirements
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems
• Ability to lead, supervise and motivate team
• Understanding of Statistics and application toward problem solving, process capability, on line control and interpretation of data
• Ability to present to various levels within the organization with clarity and direction
• Must have ability to influence change through effective communication and direction
