Job summary

The Operations Manager at Bama Companies, Inc. is a leadership role in Tulsa, Oklahoma, accountable for the Production Department. This position drives production strategy, focus, and alignment with Bama's Key Strategic Intentions, serving as a change agent reporting to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Science, Business or related discipline and/or 5 years of related experience with increasing responsibilities within a food manufacturing facility.
• 3-7 years in a management role with demonstrated excellence in management and organizational duties.
• Understanding of safety requirements.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to lead, supervise and motivate team.
• Ability to present to various levels within the organization with clarity and direction.
• Ability to influence change through effective communication and direction.
• Interact with Operations teams and visit Bama facilities regularly.

Description: The Operations Manager is part of the leadership team at a manufacturing facility, responsible and accountable for the Production Department at the Bama Companies, Inc., in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position drives production strategy, focus, and alignment supporting Bama's Key Strategic Intentions.

The Operations Manager is a change agent, reporting to the Plant Manager. The position is responsible and accountable for leadership of Production Supervisors, Operations Coordinators and Production Team Members. They understand the Bama Manufacturing Systems and champion Quality/Safety/Continuous Improvement/Smart Fun Financial Growth to employees, customers and the rest of the Management Team. They oversee the application of policies and rules within the Department. They will be a strong resource for production related aspects.

The Operations Manager is a role model for EQ within Bama, supporting Emotional Quotient initiatives and delivers "employees feeling wildly important."
