You will ensure asset security, drive safety initiatives, and report production metrics accurately while mentoring staff towards quality and efficiency. The role requires strong communication, teaching abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement to meet rising customer demands.

Qualifications

• Able to read and follow factory drawings.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate.
• Able to apply concepts of high school math.
• Ability to manage multiple issues concurrently and lead meetings.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching in a plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and manage the manufacturing and shipping processes.
• Ensure company assets and the physical plant are secure and well maintained.
• Lead safety processes and educate staff to sustain a safe work environment.
• Report time, production, and material usage accurately and timely.
• Drive process reliability to achieve low cost, high quality, and strong asset returns.
• Minimize waste through training, awareness, and accountability.
• Participate in machine center goal setting and area responsibility compliance.
• Demonstrate understanding of financial drivers and cost implications of decisions.
• Possess strong time management and meeting facilitation skills.
• Provide effective coaching and delegation to personnel to improve performance.
