Birmingham Fastener and Supply is seeking an Operations Manager to drive operational excellence in a manufacturing facility. You will lead both skilled and unskilled labor, manage data, and ensure safe, efficient productivity across shipping, costs, and processes.

The role requires a strong background in operations management, ISO 9001 familiarity, and ERP tools, with a focus on continuous improvement and effective team leadership in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations manager experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Experience with ERP systems and operations software tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations to ensure on-time shipping of orders.
• Establish, communicate, support, motivate, measure, and evaluate results for all goals and objectives.
• Lead the warehouse with metrics to monitor progress and improve efficiency.
• Control operational costs, equipment and process efficiencies, and productivity.
• Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Oversee technology solutions to streamline operations.
• Maintain facility assets through maintenance programs and procedures.
• Manage spending against budget including manpower and maintenance.
• Prepare timely activity and daily reports.
• Ensure a safe work environment per EHS standards.
