Job summary

Qualified Staffing is partnering with an established Alabama manufacturing organization to recruit a Manufacturing Operations Manager for a direct hire, full-time position near the Alabama–Mississippi border. You will lead frontline leaders and teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, data analysis, and collaboration with Safety, Quality, HR, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; Master preferred.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams in a manufacturing environment (e.g., forklift, automotive, heavy equipment).

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing leaders and associates through coaching, mentorship, and development.
• Oversee daily operations to meet production goals and customer commitments.
• Manage operational performance via metrics, planning, execution, and data analysis.
• Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, inventory, lead time, and cost.
• Partner with Safety, Quality, HR, Engineering, and other functions to reach objectives.
• Lead safety initiatives, operational reviews, problem solving, and root cause analysis.
