Job summary

City of Lincoln seeks a Manufacturing Production Manager to direct and coordinate all manufacturing activities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards. You will lead a high-performing team, plan work with supervisors and maintenance, and drive on‑time delivery of products.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, lean manufacturing experience, and solid skills in planning (MRP/CRP) and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3 years in operations management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of tactical products production and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products.
• Confers with management to establish production and quality standards and cost controls.
• Reviews production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports for root causes.
• Develops and implements methods to eliminate problems and improve quality.
• Revises schedules and priorities due to equipment issues or problems.
• Collaborates with engineering on machine automation to improve quality.
• Leads the production team and ensures staffing and supplies are adequate.
• Ensures deadlines, quality and efficiency targets are met.
• Manages machinery, equipment and maintenance needs.
• Maintains safety and a healthy work environment with inspections.
• Maintains production paperwork and liaison with main facility on related issues.
