Job summary

Owens Corning in Cortland Township, IL is seeking a Production & Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will direct personnel, manage material flow, inventory, shipping, and TPM activities while escalating broader decisions to plant leadership.

The role builds manufacturing leadership capabilities, partnering with multiple functions to sustain continuous improvement and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
18+ years old with English proficiency.
Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material-handling experience.
Ability to lead people, communicate clearly, organize changing priorities, solve problems.
Reading and enforcing formulas, work orders, SOPs, JHAs, and records.
Proficiency with MS Office; ability to learn Fishbowl and plant systems; forklift cert.

Responsibilities

Lead safety, environmental, and quality leadership activities and ensure SOPs, JHA, and lockout/tagout compliance.
Plan daily work, assign personnel, monitor execution, and escalate constraints.
Coordinate batch building, shipping/receiving, inventory, and material transfers.
Maintain safe, organized warehouses and coordinate with internal/external teams.
Lead TPM activities and use Lean methods to reduce risk, downtime, and waste.
