Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group is seeking three Manufacturing Operating Technicians for our Minnesota bindery who are eager to learn. No bindery experience is required—we will train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to the production of books and printed materials.

You will set up, run, and maintain the machine sections, troubleshoot minor issues, and accurately record production data. A reliable, team-oriented attitude and a basic reading of job instructions are essential for

• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Reliable, team-oriented with good attendance.
• High school diploma or GED required.

We’re hiring 3team membersready to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in print manufacturing.

What You’ll Do:

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.

What We’re Looking For:

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machineryin any industry(manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team
• High school diploma/GED.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
