The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is hiring Manufacturing Operating Technicians for the Bindery. No bindery experience is required as training will be provided. You will learn to set up, run, and maintain high-speed bindery equipment and record production data.

We are seeking 3 team members who are mechanically inclined, able to read basic instructions, and eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A high school diploma or GED is required and reliability is essential.

• No prior bindery experience required; training provided.
• Experience operating machinery in any industry is acceptable.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Reliable, meticulous, and a good team player.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilités

What You’ll Do:

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.

What We’re Looking For:

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machineryin any industry(manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team
• High school diploma/GED.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
