Job summary

The Sheridan Minnesota facility is hiring three team members for a Manufacturing Operating Technician - Bindery role. We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment, set up and run processes, and ensure quality on every job.

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you. You bring reliability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read simple work instructions; we’ll provide growth and a long-term career in print manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in quality work and be reliable
• Be a team player and show up reliably for shifts
• High school diploma or GED is required; training provided for bindery role

• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machinery and auxiliary equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.

What We’re Looking For:

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machineryin any industry(manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team
• High school diploma/GED.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
