Job summary

Sheridan Minnesota is hiring Manufacturing Operating Technicians for the Bindery. No bindery experience needed—we’ll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to quality books and printed materials.

Join a fast-paced, team-oriented production floor where you will learn to set up, operate, and maintain the machine, interpret instructions, and log production data. Training provided to build a long-term career in print manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Take pride in doing quality work and show up reliably as a team member.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Interpret work instructions and accurately record production data.

We’re hiring 3team membersready to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in print manufacturing.

What You’ll Do:

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.

What We’re Looking For:

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machineryin any industry(manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team
• High school diploma/GED.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
