FC Industries in Dayton, OH is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor for BarSplice Products to lead a portion of the night production team, drive safety, quality, and on-time output, and mentor operators.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of production experience, hands-on CNC knowledge, and proven leadership. Strong problem-solving, communication, and a self-starter mindset are required for growth within our expanding manufacturing organization.

• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on CNC experience in a production environment.
• Strong computer and troubleshooting skills.

The Opportunity

OurBarSplice Productsdivision is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to help manage part of our production team. BarSplice manufactures innovative mechanical splicing and anchorage systems used in major construction projects around the world. Our products have been used on projects including One World Trade Center, State Farm Stadium, Buc-Ees, The Brent Spencer Bridge, hospitals, and major international structures across all seven continents.

We’re looking for an experienced Night Shift Supervisor who has thorough knowledge of manufacturing, processes, and CNC Machines. This could be the perfect next step for an experienced CNC operator or machine operator who is ready to move into leadership, or for an experienced supervisor looking for a new opportunity with a growing company.

This is a rare opportunity with significant room for growth.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–4:00 AM
Overtime: Fridays as needed, typically 5–8 hours
No weekend work

What you will do as a Supervisor:

• Lead and support part of the BarSplice night shift production team
• Train and develop machine operators
• Troubleshoot CNC and other machines with common production issues
• Monitor production, quality, safety, and efficiency
• Help keep machines and production running smoothly
• Use computer systems to track production and complete documentation
• Communicate production needs and issues with management
• Hold the team accountable while leading by example
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity

Requirements

What we're looking for in a Supervisor:

• 5+ years of production/manufacturing experience – required
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong hands-on experience operating CNC machines in a production environment
• Strong understanding of CNC equipment, other types of production machines, processes, and troubleshooting
• Strong computer skills
• Experience training or developing other employees
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership
• Strong communication and organizational skills
