H3 Manufacturing Group, LLC is seeking a BusBar Operator for the night shift in Oxford, NC. You will safely set up, operate, and monitor a Vaski Busbar Machine to fabricate copper and aluminum busbars per engineering specs and schedules.

The role requires reading blueprints, strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail. Prior CNC or automated fabrication experience is a plus; willingness to work 10-hour shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with CNC or automated fabrication equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Vaski Busbar Machine to cut, punch, bend, and process busbars per drawings and work instructions.
• Load raw materials into the machine and unload finished products safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Verify dimensions using calipers, tape measures, squares, and gauges.
• Perform routine machine setup, tool changes, and program selection.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for quality and productivity.
• Inspect finished busbars for dimensional accuracy and workmanship.
• Identify and report malfunctions or quality concerns to supervision or maintenance.
• Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe 5S work area and follow safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

The Busbar Operator is responsible for safely setting up, operating, and monitoring a Vaski Busbar Machine to fabricate copper and aluminum busbars according to engineering specifications and production schedules. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to maintain efficient production while adhering to all safety standards.

• Operate the Vaski Busbar Machine to cut, punch, bend, and process busbars according to drawings and work instructions.
• Load raw materials into the machine and unload finished products safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and production documentation.
• Verify dimensions and quality of finished parts using measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measures, squares, and gauges.
• Perform routine machine setup, tool changes, and program selection as required.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and make minor adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Inspect finished busbars for dimensional accuracy, appearance, and workmanship.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, tooling issues, or quality concerns to supervision or maintenance.
• Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S and company housekeeping standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with material handling and other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC or automated fabrication equipment is a plus.
• Experience with busbar manufacturing or electrical component fabrication is preferred but not required.

• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, and grasp.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery and measuring equipment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Working Conditions

• Regular exposure to machinery, metal materials, and industrial noise.
• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to meet production demands.

Pay: starting at $17/hour
