Job summary

Peugeot Sport (Stellantis Motorsport) seeks a Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to drive General Assembly feasibility for new models and mid-cycle programs. You will liaise with Product Engineering, propose design-to-manufacturing solutions, and drive issues to closure.

You will develop capital-efficient manufacturing proposals, support plant loading studies, and ensure DFMA concepts are integrated in design and tooling. Occasional plant visits are expected during early launches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in automotive/plant operations.
• CAD skills to navigate vehicle tree and tooling.
• Strong knowledge of GA manufacturing processes and tooling.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform GA manufacturing activities for new model and mid cycle action programs.
• Develop Design to Manufacturing proposals to optimize Capex.
• Support Plant Loading studies and Make/Buy alignment.
• Develop Process Maps with Pre-Scroll; ensure Feasibility studies are performed in Plant Environment.
• Execute Change Management meetings to align product process and tooling.
• Monitor General Assembly KPI's.
• Develop high-visibility weekly updates to Stellantis management.
• Travel to assembly plants to support early phases of vehicle launches.
