Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Mechanic to keep a pharmaceutical production facility running safely and efficiently. You will perform installation, preventive maintenance, and hands-on troubleshooting across electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and mechanical systems, with immediate expertise in resolving complex faults during compression and encapsulation processes in a cGMP environment.

The role requires 2 years of experience, high school education, and the ability to work first

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in manufacturing mechanics.
• Experience ensuring compliance with GMP and SOP standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Perform installation, repair, and troubleshooting of process equipment as required, including electrical, pneumatic & electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Efficiently maintain operating machines and correct any malfunctions.
• Work with other mechanics to set up, troubleshoot, and repair process equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults during compression and encapsulation on Cadmach, Fette, ACG and Bosch machines, addressing issues like weight variation, capping, sticking, and related faults.
• Follow safe procedures when repairing or maintaining equipment.
• Restart machines promptly when required by business needs.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Complete PMs within required time to maintain efficiency.
• Suggest equipment maintenance improvements to reduce costs and safety hazards.
• Track downtime, changeover time, PMs, and productivity metrics.

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Mechanic to keep our pharmaceutical production facility running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will perform installation, preventive maintenance (PM), and hands-on troubleshooting across electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and mechanical processing systems. This role requires immediate expertise in resolving complex mechanical faults during compression and encapsulation processes while maintaining strict compliance with cGMP and SOP standards.

salary: $62,400 - $81,120 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 7:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Perform installation, repair, and troubleshooting of process equipment as required, including electrical, pneumatic & electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Efficiently maintain operating machines and correct any malfunctions.
• Work with other mechanics to set up, troubleshoot, and repair process equipment.
• The mechanic must have hands-on experience in troubleshooting technical issues that arise during the compression process on Cadmach and Fette machines, as well as during encapsulation on ACG and Bosch machines. Expertise should include resolving problems such as weight variation, capping, double capping, sticking, picking, and related mechanical faults.
• Follow safe procedures when repairing or maintaining equipment.
• Restart machines in a short period of time when required by business needs.
• Perform schedule preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Responsible for completion of the PM’s, in the required amount of time to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Recommend equipment maintenance improvement to reduce costs and safety hazards.
• Responsible for "Downtime", "Change Over Time", "PM's" and "Productivity" results.
