Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking a Materials Handler on the second shift to ensure materials and components are available for production and to support flow from work center to work center.

You will manage cart kits, retrieve shortages, process ECMs, and help maintain timely material movement. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to work at heights over 6 feet, and good communication with supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work at heights over 6 feet.
• Follow oral and written directions with high productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Kits all jobs onto carts for upcoming operations.
• Retrieves materials from Storeroom or other departments for production employees.
• Processes ECMs in manufacturing and resolves engineering problems on prints and BOMs.
• Ensures materials flow between work centres in a timely manner.
• Updates dispatch lists and supports product tollgates.
• Assist in moving units and act as confined space attendant when needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area; HazMat certifiable.
