Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking a Shop Floor Dispatcher to order, deliver, move and place materials within the plant as scheduled. You will sort and distribute bills of materials and drawings, handle revisions, and ensure accurate inventory records in the SAP system.

You will also assist planners and supervisors, train new operators, and support material flow across production lines in a large-scale manufacturing facility for high-voltage power transformers.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with heavy mechanical or electrical assembly preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, hand trucks and other powered vehicles.
• Receive assignments from supervisor and move, deliver, and stage parts.
• Update schedules and prep parts for production lines.
• Distribute bills of material to correct work centers and track material usage.
• Process engineering changes, non-conformances and defective material reports.
