Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking a Shop Floor Dispatcher to manage the movement and placement of materials within the plant, ensuring accurate BOM and drawing updates.

You will work closely with planners and supervisors to maintain on-time production and inventory integrity. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic proficiency with SAP, and ability to operate forklifts and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Prior experience in heavy mechanical or electrical assembly, manufacturing, or power equipment

Responsibilities

• Order, deliver, move and place materials within the plant as scheduled.
• Sort and distribute bills of material and drawings.
• Maintain accurate computer inventory records of material usage.
• Update schedules and prep parts.
• Use SAP functions to support material flow and planning.
• Train new operators as needed.
• Expedite short parts and address shortages.
• Inform planners/supervisors of variances and opportunities.
