Job summary

Gowanda Electronics Corp. in Beltsville, MD is seeking a Materials Coordinator to oversee receiving, storage, issuing, and movement of materials to support production schedules.

You will work closely with Operations, Production, Purchasing, and Planning to ensure accurate inventory, on-time material availability, and smooth flow of goods through the facility, while maintaining ERP records and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehousing.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and material management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across departments and multitask.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials.
• Package and process outbound shipments.
• Maintain shipping/receiving documentation.
• Perform inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Coordinate material movement and supply for production.
• Support production scheduling and supplier communication.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and inventory procedures.
