Gowanda Electronics Corp. in Gowanda, NY is seeking a Materials Coordinator to manage receiving, storage, issuing, moving, and shipping of materials. This role supports production scheduling and works with Purchasing to optimize inventory levels and material availability.

Candidates should have 2+ years in shipping/inventory roles, ERP/MRP experience, and strong organizational skills. The position offers hourly compensation in a manufacturing setting with comprehensive benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, materials coordination, or manufacturing support.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred and ERP/MRP knowledge desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory transaction processing in ERP systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials, components, and supplies.
• Package, prepare, and process outbound shipments per requirements.
• Generate and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
• Perform inventory transactions and cycle counts; maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate material movement and support production scheduling; liaise with Purchasing.
