Job summary

Milwaukee Electronics seeks a Materials Supervisor to lead a team ensuring materials are organized, accurate, and ready for production. You will collaborate across Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to maintain material flow and address shortages.

You will supervise Material Handlers and Shipping/Receiving Clerks, oversee receiving, storage, and shipping, and maintain ERP records with cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of materials management, warehouse, or inventory control experience in electronics or contract manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of supervisory, lead, or mentoring experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, inventory controls, cycle counting, receiving, and material planning processes.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Clear communication and collaborative problem solving.
• Knowledge of shipping and DOT requirements for materials handled by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Material Handlers and Shipping/Receiving Clerks, setting clear priorities and supporting training and performance.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, staging, material movement, and shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ERP records through transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Production to address shortages and keep materials available when needed.
• Support new product introductions with accurate material staging and documentation.
• Improve warehouse organization and material flow while upholding safety and quality standards.
