Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE, Inc. is seeking a hands-on assembler for gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives. The role focuses on assembling components, stocking parts between lines, and ensuring quality during the assembly process.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude and experience in hand assembly. The position offers a 2nd shift with a 10% shift premium and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be currently eligible to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to organize workload for timely completion of tasks.
• Physical ability to sit/stand/walk and perform repetitive motions.
• Must meet production requirements consistently.

Responsibilities

• Hand assembly of gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives; maintain stock between assembly lines.
• Use calipers and depth gauges to inspect parts.
• Visually inspect work and perform rework as needed.
• Follow ISO quality and safety rules and company procedures.
• Assess situations and report unsafe conditions to the manager.

About the Role Position involves all aspects of the assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean up. The main focus of the position at this time is assembly of reducers and motors. Excellent mechanical aptitude and experience is required, including a background in hand assembly. Pay Range: $17.00/hour + 10% Shift Differential Shift: 2nd Shift.

• Assess each situation and do not perform any tasks which s/he feels is unsafe, on which s/he has not received training, or engage in any unsafe work practices. Report any unsafe condition to his/her manager.
