MANUFACTURING MANAGER - Plant 3 (Finance)

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • 7 years of leadership experience; at least 3 years as a direct supervisor.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; verification required at hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • Experience in investment casting industry and/or manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and employee engagement skills.
  • Ability to drive improvements through lean manufacturing, TQM, Six Sigma.
  • Proven results in manufacturing excellence.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong financial literacy.
  • Experience with tooling, molds, and dies in investment casting, injection molding, or stamping industries.

This position is located at Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operation.

Job Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Manager leads manufacturing excellence, ensures customer satisfaction, and drives continuous improvement in plant performance (quality, productivity, cycle time, delivery, cash flow). Responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Monitoring OEE and production value added.
  • Meeting daily shipment targets, profit, and revenue goals.
  • Improving manufacturing planning, shop floor discipline, and implementing lean initiatives.
  • Identifying and eliminating waste, improving product flow, and reducing labor content.
  • Developing and training team leaders and support personnel.
  • Addressing safety issues promptly and promoting injury-free events.
  • Managing department budgets and maintaining good customer relations.
  • Aligning strategic plans, goals, and objectives with business units.
  • Ensuring delivery performance, capacity planning, and cost reduction.
  • Applying lean tools, constraint management, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Collaborating with engineering for process improvements and maintaining safety standards.
