Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a Manufacturing Manager 3 to lead the IE team supporting Pit and Detonator production. You will guide a group of engineers to apply IE principles, data-driven solutions, and safety standards across operations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, project execution, and continuous improvement. You will report to the PSS-4 Group Manager and help align tactical work with lab strategic goals while ensuring compliance and safe, efficient performance

Qualifications

• Demonstrated record of technical leadership and supervising staff.
• Experience developing work scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Ability to operate in a manufacturing environment with Conduct of Operations standards.
• Strong data governance and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6-7 engineers and project leads to support data, insights, and visualization initiatives.
• Ensure ISM line management responsibilities and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute business plans and improve operations.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and organizational learning.
