Responsibilities

• Support the reliability and availability of Detonator Production (DP) programmatic equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement risk-based preventive maintenance strategies aligned with manufacturer recommendations and equipment criticality.
• Evaluate preventive maintenance frequency, duration, and effectiveness with planners, schedulers, production personnel, and maintenance teams.
• Conduct preventive maintenance audits and propose improvements based on history and trends.
• Identify and manage reliability risks affecting equipment operation, availability, or mission deliverables.
• Investigate equipment and system failures and support corrective actions using root-cause analysis methods (e.g., FMEA).
• Analyze data and performance metrics (downtime, uptime, schedule adherence) to improve reliability and maintenance.
• Structure asset hierarchies in CMMS, ensuring accurate tags, locations, specs, and BOMs.
• Apply engineering principles to support system configuration, equipment upgrades, maintenance method development, design reviews, and readiness.
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment and services; evaluate vendor proposals and support procurement.
