Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our single-site manufacturing operation in Austin, TX. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment, including PLCs, robotics, and hydraulic systems, to keep lines running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation.
• Experience with robotics and injection molding equipment.
• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with safety and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming activities.
• Support robotic equipment maintenance and ensure proper operation of production lines.
• Complete facility maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and work orders.
• Participate in problem-solving related to safety, quality, and equipment efficiency.
• Support equipment modifications and improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with 5S and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other standards.
