Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in a single-site manufacturing environment in Austin, TX. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to keep lines running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, PLC and robotics experience, and hands-on electrical/mechanical skills. Excellent troubleshooting and adherence to safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred).
• Working knowledge of PLC systems (read/program) and industrial automation.
• Experience with robotics, injection molding equipment, and production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming activities.
• Support robotic equipment maintenance and ensure proper operation of production lines.
• Complete facility maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and work orders.
• Participate in problem-solving activities related to safety, quality, and equipment efficiency.
• Support equipment modifications and improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with 5S standards, safety policies, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other applicable standards.
