Job summary

The Alpha Group is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician – Electrical/Mechanical in Attleboro, MA for a temporary to permanent role. This hands-on position requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, independent work on equipment issues, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, schematics reading, fabrication, and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing (5+ years) required.
• Experience with preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and basic hydraulics.
• Able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues.
• Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals and docs.
• Fabricate or modify basic parts to repair equipment.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair docs.
• Assist with equipment setup and installation.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors onsite.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Currently seeking Manufacturing Maintenance Technician – Electrical/Mechanical for a temporary to permanent position in Attleboro, MA. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently on equipment issues, breakdowns, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities of Manufacturing Maintenance Technician – Electrical/Mechanical:

- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems based on schedules and operational priorities

- Respond quickly and independently to equipment breakdowns and production needs

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues

-Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

-Read and interpret schematics, drawings, manuals and other documentation

-Fabricate or modify basic parts or components needed to make repairs

- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation

-Support equipment set-up, installation, relocation and improvement

-Work with outside contractors, vendors or technicians while completing work onsite

-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

-Provide support on continuous improvement initiatives

-Perform other related tasks as assigned

Requirements of Manufacturing Maintenance Technician – Electrical/Mechanical:

-Minimum High School Diploma, or GED required; Technical/Vocational School or Associates degree in related field

-5+ years' experience in industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

-Experience preventative maintenance on industrial or manufacturing equiment

-Previous experience with pneumatics and basic hydraulics

-Able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings

-Strong problem-solving skills

-Basic computer skills

-ability to prioritize tasks and respond to requests in a fast-paced environment

-Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment

-Ability to lift up to 50lbs

-Be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb throughout the shift

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: up to $30.00/hr
