Job summary

Adecco is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our client’s manufacturing team in Mechanic Falls, Maine. This role maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs manufacturing equipment independently.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with electrical/Pneumatic/PLC systems. Position offers direct hire and a 4-day work week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of industrial machine maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of building electrical systems and industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
• Basic machinist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment repairs independently
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
• Perform tooling changeovers on production equipment while ensuring products meet specifications
• Implement programs to minimize machine downtime and production changeovers
• Use machine shop tools to fabricate parts and complete repairs
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of business goals

Schedule: Monday - Thursday I 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
