Rheem Manufacturing Company in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations for a busy plant. You will supervise hourly maintenance staff and contractors, direct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures.

You will plan workloads, coordinate parts and tools, and drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime while coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field; 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.
• Ability to lead teams, manage workloads, and implement policies and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and train employees; assess performance and enforce discipline as needed.
• Ability to analyze problems and implement improvements.
• Excellent communication with other functional areas.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Direct supervision of hourly Maintenance Department employees including electricians and mechanics.
• Directs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and facilities.
• Plan workloads, schedules, and staff training to minimize downtime.
• Oversee material planning and ordering for repairs, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain effective cross-department relationships to meet objectives.
• Lead safety briefings and enforce safe working practices.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching or disciplinary action as needed.
• Supervise completion and documentation of maintenance work orders and quality checks.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with responders to ensure equipment and personnel safety.
