Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a fully staffed maintenance team in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated manufacturing environment. You will coach mechanics, manage safety and compliance, and oversee planning for packaging lines, while coordinating external services as needed.

The role requires a bachelor’s-level capability with at least five years of supervisory experience, and a focus on uptime, Lean practices, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum five years of maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/CPG).
• Strong skills in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and ticketing systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead a 24/7 maintenance team in a packaging area; coach and mentor staff.
• Promote safety culture, enforce policies, and conduct field audits.
• Coordinate maintenance resources; manage schedules and work packages.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives; track KPIs.
• Remain flexible to support shift coverage, including weekends.
