Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Lakewood, NJ manufacturing site. You will lead a full maintenance team on packaging lines, focusing on safety, reliability, and uptime, while coaching staff on best practices and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance supervision in manufacturing, experience in FDA-regulated environments, and proven ability to manage preventive maintenance and root cause investigations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• At least five years of similar maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Pharmaceutical, consumer products, food, or beverage manufacturing experience.
• Experience working in FDA regulated manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Preventative maintenance programs and ticketing systems experience.
• Strong continuous improvement background, focused on increasing uptime and efficiencies.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Coaching: Directly responsible for building a high-performing, 24/7 maintenance team in packaging. Provide active coaching and mentoring to mechanics and escalate performance issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture and enforce plant safety policies. Conduct daily audits and manage safety expectations and contractor work scope.
• Maintenance Planning & Operations: Schedule maintenance resources for packaging lines, manage urgent issues, and verify work can proceed with shift leads.
• Continuous Improvement & KPIs: Own safety/productivity KPIs; support Lean manufacturing principles and lead root cause investigations.
• Work Flexibility: Maintain flexibility to work any shift and weekends to support operations.
