Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Sandston, VA, is seeking a Mechanic Manufacturing I to repair and maintain facility assets, respond to breakdowns, and perform planned and unplanned maintenance.

The role requires interpreting SOPs, using precision tools, and ensuring a safe, well‑organized work environment. The position operates on the 3rd shift (9:30 pm–6:00 am, Sunday night–Friday morning with some weekends).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience or education.
• Experience with high-speed production equipment preferred.
• Ability to read SOPs and instructions.
• PLCs experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment and respond to breakdowns.
• Complete PMs and maintain paperwork, parts usage, and inventory.
• Inform production to minimize downtime and keep line running efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
