Coca-Cola Consolidated is hiring for a Mechanic Manufacturing I in Sandston, VA. This full-time role covers the 3rd shift (Sunday night to Friday morning) with a pay range of $29.14 to $34.00 per hour and requires a high school diploma or GED.

The position focuses on repairing and maintaining production assets, responding to equipment breakdowns, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-documented work environment. PLC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Experience with PLCs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation and preventive maintenance of motors, conveyors, and production machines according to specs.
• Diagnoses problems by observing machinery and using measurement tools.
• Performs corrective maintenance and documents work orders and parts usage.
• Keeps downtime low by executing maintenance plans and coordinating with production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
