Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Charlotte is seeking a Mechanic Manufacturing II to repair and maintain all production assets. You will respond to breakdowns, perform planned and unscheduled work, and help improve equipment efficiency while keeping a safe, clean work environment.

The role requires reading SOPs, PLC experience, and the ability to read blueprints. Weekend/holiday shifts and a 3rd shift schedule may apply based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related work experience or 2 years college/technical training preferred.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) required.
• Able to read SOPs and engineering drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and proper paperwork (work orders, parts usage).
• Assist with design improvements and process changes to improve efficiency.
