Job summary

American Woodmark Corp. in Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for coordinating maintenance to meet plant goals. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance and supervision, strong project management, and proficiency with MS Office; AutoCAD light is a plus.

This role leads teams and supports SQDC targets in a union-free environment. The position requires excellent planning and problem solving, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience; wood related preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervision experience; multiple departments
• Experience in material flows, continuous improvement practices; and process analysis.

Responsibilities

• Overall coordination of Plant property and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure maintenance and safety of all assembly, milling, and finishing equipment.
• Develops and maintains all preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintains inventory of tools, parts, and supplies to support the plant and plant operations.
• Plan and coordinate department's activities to support SQDC targets, and meet/exceed client/customer expectations.
• Participate in identifying hiring needs; employee selection and training process.
• Provide communication on departmental expectations and motivate team members.
• Provide team leadership consistent with company vision, mission, CITE principles.
