Job summary

Wabash is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead 7-8 skilled hourly employees on the production floor in a manufacturing setting. You will plan, schedule, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs, while actively troubleshooting complex equipment to minimize downtime.

You'll balance safety, quality, productivity, and cost, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance systems. Strong communication and lean manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, press maintenance, overhead hoist systems, industrial controls, 3 phase 480 voltage circuits.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience using lean manufacturing tools.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Critical thinker with a positive approach towards employees.
• Experience with predictive maintenance methods is preferred.
• Experience developing or improving preventive maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop employees and resolve issues through problem resolution.
• Reduce downtime through proactive maintenance and complex equipment troubleshooting.
• Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to drive results.
• Drive continuous improvement of maintenance systems, processes, and equipment reliability.
• Manage and sustain proper WPO to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Provide hands-on support for advanced troubleshooting and critical equipment failures.
• Own and improve the preventive and predictive maintenance program.
• Improve PM quality, standardization, and reporting.
