Job summary

Wabash is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee shop floor activities, plan systems to improve quality and efficiency, and lead staff in line with company policies. You will coach teams and ensure coordination across operations, materials, maintenance, and quality.

The role requires 5–8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership, SAP proficiency, and a solid grasp of Lean and Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Management or Engineering.
• 5–8 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations.
• Proficient with Windows-based software; SAP knowledge.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience or similar.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational activities within the assigned area or facilities.
• Develop systems to improve quality and efficiency of operations.
• Apply Lean principles to reduce or optimize costs.
• Supervise staff and enforce company policies.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of new staff.
• Set internal goals and metrics and monitor performance.
