Job summary

Austin Allen Inc. is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead plant maintenance, internal tooling operations, and facilities at our Scranton, PA location.

The role includes oversight of a second facility with periodic travel and a focus on driving reliability and cost-effective improvements. You will manage a ~30-person maintenance team, oversee budgets and capital projects, and partner with operations to keep production safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience leading industrial maintenance teams and facilities.
• Knowledge of machining, toolrooms, or in-house tooling fabrication.
• Ability to manage priorities, budgets, and maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability programs to keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Oversee the internal machine shop/toolroom that supports tooling, dies, and replacement parts.
• Manage plant facilities, utilities, contractors, maintenance budgets, and capital improvements.
• Lead and develop an approximately 30-person maintenance and facilities organization.
• Provide maintenance and operational oversight for the company’s second facility, with periodic travel.
