The position also coordinates major repairs and interacts with regulatory agencies, while directing facility personnel across multiple locations. A strong emphasis on cost control and proactive maintenance is essential.

Qualificações

• High school or tech school education and 3 years of factory related maintenance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 6+ years facility maintenance experience in large facilities.
• 2-5 years of management experience, preferably in a similar environment.
• Experience with clean rooms is highly desired.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee facility maintenance and minor repairs, including carpentry and painting.
• Manage and direct facility personnel across multiple sites.
• Supervise janitorial contractors and ensure service quality at designated locations.
• Administer vendor and service contracts: define requirements, approve specifications, qualify vendors, and solicit proposals.
• Schedule and perform preventative and predictive maintenance on buildings and systems.
• Coordinate major repairs for mechanical, HVAC, boiler, and generator systems.
• Estimate labor and material costs; obtain competitive pricing for equipment and supplies.
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventory control, and risk management documentation.
• Collaborate with external agencies (fire department, first responders) as needed.
