Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Winona, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Machinist for a full-time role. You will set up and operate turning centers, machining centers, and various manual equipment, ensuring product quality and efficiency.

The position offers a path to a flexible schedule after onboarding, with standard shifts and all hours available. Responsibilities include inspecting parts, running multiple machines, aiding coworkers, and keeping the workspace safe and clean.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic math skills.
• Demonstrate organization, prioritization and problem solving ability.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently or in a crew.
• Lift 25–50 lbs, may reach up to 100 lbs and pass drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple machines including turning centers and machining centers.
• Perform accurate inspections and ensure product quality.
• Run several pieces of equipment simultaneously and assist teammates.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
