Manufacturing Machinist

Location: 61 Barnes Industrial Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492
CT180 Manufacturing Facility

Full-time Shift(s):
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Overview

As a Full-time Manufacturing Machinist, you will set up and operate equipment such as turning centers, machining centers, and manual machines. Candidates should understand machine operations and capabilities. The position may offer flexible scheduling after onboarding, training, and performance achievement.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inspections on products
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously
• Assist colleagues when needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency
• Organized, able to plan and prioritize
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
