Entry-Level Machinist

Location: 61 Barnes Industrial Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492

Facility: CT180 Manufacturing Facility

Shift(s):

1. Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
2. Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Overview:

As a Full-time Entry-Level Machinist, you will set up and operate various equipment such as saws, threading machines, hot and cold heading machines, and other manual equipment. This is an entry-level position with training provided.

Responsibilities:

• Learn machine operation and capabilities of multiple machines
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously
• Perform accurate inspections on products
• Assist other employees as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritization abilities
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Alignment with company core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork
• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)

Preferred Qualifications:
