Job summary

Prysmian in Jackson, TN is seeking a hands-on production team member to operate equipment safely on 12-hour shifts. You will follow schedules, perform quality checks, and log data for traceability while contributing to a high performing team and safety culture.

You should have a High School Diploma or GED, be comfortable with basic math, and be willing to work weekends and holidays. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, with on-the-job forklift training available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• Comfort with basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate simple percentages
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs multiple times per day and lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic computer proficiency
• Ability to thrive in a High Performing Team environment with limited supervision
• Interest in training to operate a forklift when needed

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and follow safety policies.
• Continuously monitor quality and perform visual and mechanical inspections to meet standards.
• Perform setups and changeovers according to established procedures.
• Load and unload equipment and materials efficiently.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and work orders accurately.
• Record and maintain all information needed for product traceability and quality documentation.
• Participate in cross-training to broaden your skills.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.
