Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation in Houston, TX seeks a Production Lead to direct daily operations on the assigned production line, balance manpower, and ensure materials and equipment are available to prevent downtime. You will train associates, enforce SOPs, and coordinate with quality, engineering, and warehouse teams to resolve issues while maintaining WIP accuracy and system transactions.

Fluency in English is required; Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and production flow.
• Leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to read and write in English
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the assigned production line.
• Assign work and balance manpower to meet production goals.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to prevent line downtime.
• Ensure associates are trained and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform production tasks as needed to maintain production flow.
• Coach associates and support daily performance improvement.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Material Handling, Quality, and Engineering to resolve production issues.
• Maintain WIP, inventory accuracy, and system transactions using SFC.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
