Job summary

L'Oréal USA, Inc. in Franklin Township, NJ is seeking a Manager - Learning Site Lead, Franklin Manufacturing, to drive learning systems and initiatives that support both individual and organizational growth within Operational Excellence.

You will partner with HR, plant leadership, and NA zone learning to deliver onboarding, training programs, and ongoing skills development across safety, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include Manufacturing & Operations experience, cross-functional collaboration, and training/HR background.
• Instructional design and adult learning principles are valued for on-the-floor or classroom delivery.
• Ability to analyze training metrics, set priorities, and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation of current training program and help set priorities and improvement strategies.
• Own the Training, Learning and Education pillar within the plant's CI/TPM program.
• Identify skill gaps with HR and plant leadership and advocate for needs.
• Develop, update, and implement skill matrices with site leadership.
• Manage the site annual training calendar covering Safety, Quality, and Performance.
• Collaborate to create a training program aligned with short-term and long-term site needs.
• Facilitate compliance trainings per PD&L strategy and site assessments.
• Lead New Hire Plant Orientation including EHS and quality introductions.
• Enroll new hires into corporate trainings such as Discovery.
• Ensure completion of My Learning trainings (Unconscious Bias, Ethics, etc.).
• Deliver leadership development micro-learning for shift managers.
• Hold hires and managers accountable to training requirements.
• Update and distribute the Plant New Hire Guide (2x/year).
• Serve as SME during audits and keep training matrices and records audit-ready.
• Manage site communications around PD&L initiatives and milestones.
