Job summary

CTG is hiring a Manufacturing Training Specialist in Fairport, NY to support plant training program development, delivery, administration, and continuous improvement. You will manage learning systems, coordinate onboarding, and develop engaging eLearning content to improve training effectiveness.

The role emphasizes adult learning principles, instructional design proficiency, and collaboration with production staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, delivering, or administering training programs in manufacturing, technical, or operational environments.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, on-the-job training, and employee qualification practices.
• Experience with learning management systems, training records, progress tracking, and identifying skill gaps.
• Strong instructional design, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with production staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and administer training programs in manufacturing or technical settings.
• Manage onboarding, qualifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Administer learning platforms, curricula, training records, and reporting.
• Create engaging eLearning content using appropriate design methods and media.
• Support Training Within Industry (TWI) Job Instruction and audits.
• Lead training projects and evaluate technology, automation, and reporting solutions.
• Provide tools, guidance, and system support to training leads and SMEs.
