Johnson Controls in Milwaukee seeks Associate Director, Learning & Development, Manufacturing & Global Supply Chain to lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise manufacturing learning programs across the global plant network.

The role partners with Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, HR, and business leaders to identify capability gaps, build scalable learning solutions, and ensure standards while localizing for regulatory and language needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in learning and development within large organizations.
• Experience supporting frontline, technical, operational, industrial, engineering, manufacturing populations.
• Experience establishing enterprise standards, governance processes, and measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise manufacturing learning programs across Johnson Controls’ global plant network.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, HR, Learning & Development, and Business System leaders to identify workforce capability needs and develop scalable solutions.
• Develop role-based learning pathways, qualification frameworks, certification requirements, and governance processes for consistency across regions and plants.
• Lead complex learning initiatives coordinating manufacturing learning, leadership development, onboarding, Lean capabilities, and other domains.
• Apply Johnson Controls Business System principles to learning through standard work, visual management, and data-driven decisions.
