Job summary

The role reports to the Plant Manager and manages budgets while delivering high-quality products on time and within cost targets. Responsibilities include directing production, scheduling, data reporting, safety, quality control, and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Management or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of related supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have a 'roll up your sleeves' approach.
• Highly analytical and forward thinking.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate the production department.
• Prioritize and prepare production schedules and communicate goals to appropriate departments.
• Analyze equipment efficiency, materials supply and coordinate manpower.
• Maintain quality control of product.
• Supervise department supervisors, shift leads and production personnel.
• Recruit/evaluate potential employees.
