Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Lead in Olive Branch, MS to oversee daily production activities for server, storage, and networking solutions. You will direct hourly staff, implement MPI-driven procedures, and drive productivity while maintaining quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, mentoring, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at Hyve Solutions, part of SYNNEX Corporation.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding and adherence to manufacturing documentation (MPI).
• Ability to train employees on MPI documents.
• Advanced Excel skills with beginning to intermediate proficiency.
• Works on assignments that are primarily complex in nature.
• Requires judgment and initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations.
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.
• Lead by example in attendance, attitude, performance.

Responsibilities

• Participating in shift start-up meetings with your department team.
• Communicate current priorities and targets, any ongoing issues, process updates, expectations, quality goals and any additional relevant information pertaining to your department.
• Attend daily recap production/shipping meeting when Supervisor is not present.
• Direct hourly employees and assigns and coordinates daily production activities.
• Determines and may develop methods and procedures to improve productivity and quality.
• Always utilize efficient and effective flow of WIP.
• Prepare daily productivity reports.
• Evaluate issues and potential problems proactively in a timely manner.
• Ensure 5S housekeeping duties are assigned and completed daily.
• Maintain open communication with hourly reports regarding goals and accomplishments.
• Monitor department KPI’s for results and trends.
• Develop contingencies and short‑term processes as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks that affect area goals or standards.
• Develop hourly employees through training, coaching and mentoring.
